Simply titled, Treebeard - LOTR by Vanestream on Rebrickable.com Is a wonderful alternate build for the Lego Bonsai Tree 10281. It’s always amazing seeing what someone comes up with when they are confined to the limitations of a specific build.  This MOC is no exception. Here, Vanestream made good use of the axle pins and hinges within the original Bonsai build to give the figure a lot of posability and maneuverability. Another great Lord of the Rings build in my collection. Thanks Vanestream

Davy Jones Pipe Organ Always loved those Pirates Movies.  This was such an integral scene.  I added various glow in the dark components on mine but, the instructions just call for mostly white.  The vines can be found in glow in the dark as well.   I prefer to keep the organ split open .  The build only allows for so much but I hinged it so it could emulate just a smidge of separation. The Side Board builds with the snakes you can swing in or out to your heart’s desire they are mounted to a single 1x2 jumper plate on each side.   Brick Info Lot Count 54 Approx. PAGE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! While the Rivendell Set is quite Magnificent.  It is also quite expensive and quite Large.  In a time before the huge $400+ Lego sets were smaller, more modest sets.  The Council of Elrond was one of them.  Here I just doubled Courtyard Pavilion by mirroring the original.

When is a MOC not Lego? I have yet to find a brick built Invisible Jet build that I felt could do better than Funko did with this Jet.  The scale is absolutely perfect for something that is not designed as for Minifigs.  I did break the steering column unfortunately, it is fragile.   The plane however, is quite strong.  So, epoxy in a cleat 2x2 plate and whalla… A perfect little Invisible Jet for your Wonder Woman minifigure. PLEASE NOTE:  This is the Funko Legion of Collectors set version which comes with a micro wonder woman figure (not shown) and can be had on eBay for sub $15.  This is NOT the Funko Pop version that came out in recent years.  

When a MOC isn’t Lego!   Growing up watching Super Friends, I had a naturally love for the Hall of Justice.  To do a HoJ build in Lego would be well over $100 bucks.  The size of it would easily be 4x bigger.  Not that I wouldn’t cherish it and make room for it but, here steps in this nice little Funko piece.  Which looks amazing, makes a nice microscale diorama for your JLA minifigs, and only costs around $20 (7/2025)

Simply Titled the Republic Gunship Midi Scale by Wurger Bricks I love the Republic Gunship LAAT (Low Altitude Assualt Transport.  It's so iconic from the Lego Star Wars Game and the Movies when it dropped down with Yoda, Mace, and a bunch of Phase 1 Clones in the Geonosis Arena to rescue Anakin, Padme, and Obi-wan.  BUT, I didn't want a large scale build one.  I just don't have the room to dedicate to it. Here's a great little Alternate Build of the Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter 75325 I am a huge fan of the Mandalorian Series, and I have an official Lego Mando's N-1 Starfighter on my wall.  Which I love!  The Razor Crest on the other hand, I could not justify having a large Scale build of in my house.  I just don't have the room anymore. So with that being said, BOOM, two offers by BlaiseTM's & Legohio's wonderful Small Scale Razor Crest Alternate Builds LEGOhio did the heavy lifting and came up with the original build.  BlaiseTM created a Modified MOC based on LEGOhio's designs. Now Instructions via Video are not my favorite medium for reference building but hey it's free.  Set it to .25 playback speed and be patient.  It's well worth it. My Razor Crest (as shown) is based on BlaiseTM's version with my own mods, of course.

Galactic Marines, Yeah I had never heard of them before either until I saw Coconut Bricks Studio’s video on YouTube.  Then it was like I have GOT TO HAVE THAT! This is an alternate build for the new Ahsoka Jedi Interceptor 75401 Alternate MOC builds were done by codyaner.bricks and Will_Crafting. Will_Crafting came up with the tie fighter front end for his and that’s what I went with. Thanks for creating such a cool piece guys!

Inspired by the relatively new and fresh GWP Coral Reef Kit 40783 that is out there, I decided to build this little Underwater Sea diorama for Kalmaar & Nya from Ninjago. I designed this build to Dollhouse open using the 1x2 hinge plate.  Also features two small submodel builds that I put together using the Amulets of Wojira. Originally, I was not sure how to even create instructions for this, you just kinda get the baseplates and the rock formation built and work your way out from there.  It can be so subjective as to where you place the brick built fish, seaweed, flowers, urchin, and what not. That being said the Coral Reef instructions are a good place to start. Also with that being said, I just got done working on instructions for a "Bare Bones MOC" which gives you use the baseplates, rock formations, and the Amulets of Wojira submodels.  As well as, a suggested parts list which will include the parts for the "Bare Bones MOC and my recommendations of parts to ran...

The second of three alternate MOC builds that I have built by dorianbricktron on Rebrickable and Youtube.  This guy is totally passionate and comes up with some really cool builds! Like so many Alternate Builds not too sturdy but, hey it's just that, an alternate build!  Where you are trying to use only the parts within a certain kit and come up with something original and different. With that being said, of course, you can strengthen them up with some plates, bricks, etc., These guys don't build them to be clone copies of what they made.  They are supposed to inspire you and show you what is capable and build your own!

Simply titled 332nd Clone Hunter.  Here Dorian uses two 75359 332nd Ahsoka's Clone Trooper Battle Pack to come up with this really cool Small Scale Fighter   Like so many Alternate Builds not too sturdy but, hey it's just that, an alternate build!  Where you are trying to use only the parts within a certain kit and come up with something original and different. With that being said, of course, you can strengthen them up with some plates, bricks, etc., These guys don't build them to be clone copies of what they made.  They are supposed to inspire you and show you what is capable and build your own!

Here’s a wonderful Alternate build for the Ahsoka Tano T6 shuttle.  Titled Ahsoka Tano’s Tie Phantom by Zsoltom on rebrickable.com Love, love, love this piece!  For an alternate build Zsoltom did a wonderful job putting this together with only the parts from the T6 build. I did end up using an axle, an axle brick, and a triple stack of 2x2 plate rounds though to make the top wing more stable and fill in the gaps created. Which if I recall correctly, I had to pull from my own inventory and not was leftover from the T6 build.  So no loss of points for the original builder there.   Saw this alternate MOC build of the Captain Rex Y-wing Microfighter on Rebrickable.com titled Captain Rex's Command Station by blockbuilder117.  This was the 3rd Captain Rex Alternate Build I tried, and I was trying to make it from the remnants of two kits and whatever I had in my inventory so I didn't exactly have all the right pieces on hand and ended up with the images you see here.
